SENIOR SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER / SOCIAL MEDIA LEAD (6 MONTH FTC)

Salary:
£60,000-65,000 pro rata
Location:
London - hybrid, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office. Flexibility required for shoots.
A globally recognised food and lifestyle brand is looking for a Senior Social Media Manager / Social Media Lead to join them on a 6 month FTC with strong potential to extend. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring strong creative judgement, confidence working directly with talent, and the ability to keep multiple projects moving from brief to delivery across a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day management and creative delivery of social channels across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest and emerging platforms
- Work directly with the talent - pitching ideas, attending shoots, directing and capturing platform-native lo-fi content on phone
- Manage the social content calendar alongside a Social Media Assistant, balancing planned campaigns, partnerships, productions and reactive opportunities
- Coordinate social projects from brief to completion across Entertainment, Brand, Comms, Publishing, Partnerships and PR teams
- Develop and deliver social content for commercial partners, balancing brand standards and audience needs
- Monitor channel and content performance, turning data and audience insight into practical recommendations

Skills and Experience
- Experience managing high-profile social channels for a talent-led, lifestyle, food, media, entertainment or D2C founder brand
- Confident, tactful and professional working directly with talent and senior stakeholders in fast-paced settings
- Hands-on content capture on phone - lo-fi and shoot-day experience essential
- Strong platform-native creative judgement across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube
- Excellent account and project management - multiple stakeholders, overlapping deadlines, competing priorities
- Strong copywriting and short-form video skills - editing experience a bonus
