The Job

You’d lead social strategy and delivery on some of our more complex, higher-value client accounts, reporting to our Social Media Team Lead. You’d work largely independently, with regular client contact, and mentor the Specialists and Executives in the team.

Our clients are a mix of ecommerce, beauty, B2B and financial services brands, and our social team works alongside specialists in SEO, Paid Media, Content and Digital PR. Your job is to make sure the organic social on your accounts is creative, data-led and clearly tied to what each client needs from it (growth in engagement, reach and conversions).

What you’d be doing

  • Leading the social strategy and delivery on your accounts. That means understanding each client’s goals well enough to build a plan around them, running the content calendars, campaigns and community management that deliver it, and reading the performance data to decide what to change. You’d report back on what changed, why, and what we’re doing next, and with support, take a growing lead in weekly client calls and QSRs.

Additionally:

  • Keep the work improving. Test new formats, creative and messaging, and turn what you learn into recommendations for your own clients and the wider team.
  • Stay ahead of the platforms. Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and X change constantly, and we want someone who spots what matters for our clients early (new features, algorithm shifts, emerging channels).
  • Raise the standard of the team. Mentor, coach, peer review and give feedback to our Specialists and Executives, and help build the templates, processes and quality checks that make good work repeatable.
  • Share what you know. Build a reputation for your expertise inside and outside Liberty (lunch and learns, blogs, webinars).
  • Help win and keep clients. Bring channel insight and evidence to pitches, renewals and proposals, and spot where a client would benefit from more of what we do.
  • Work across channels. Join up with Client Services, SEO, Paid Media, Content and Digital PR so social is part of each client’s wider plan.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who we think this is

You’ve worked as part of a social team in an agency and been judged on client outcomes (KPIs, account performance and business impact). You’ve probably been at an agency of 20 to 100+ people with SEO, content, digital PR, paid media and social on the services list, or a specialist social agency of a similar size. You’ve led the strategy and creative on multiple social accounts at once, and grown what they deliver. You’re comfortable talking to clients regularly, explaining your results and recommendations and answering questions on your approach. You can talk about social performance in commercial terms (sales, leads, cost per result) as well as engagement and reach. You write well, think visually and can turn a performance report into a clear recommendation. You’ve worked in at least one of ecommerce, B2B lead generation, D2C beauty and wellbeing, or financial services, either client side or agency.
