Job Description
About the Role
Jungle Creations is looking for a Senior Strategist who is a sharp social thinker and a confident builder with AI.
Most of your time will go on client work: leading social strategy for some of our biggest brand partners, from insight through to creative direction and measurement. You may also get exposure to pitches when the opportunities arise.
The rest of your time goes on building. You will regularly own innovation-led projects, from internal tools and automations to new products and thought leadership, working side by side with our Data & Insights team. If you are a strategist at heart, but also want to make things, this role gives you room for both.
Who You Are
- A strategist first. You find the insight others miss, build a sharp argument, and connect social ideas to commercial outcomes.
- Fluent in social and culture. You understand how platforms, creators and communities behave, and you have a strong instinct for what will travel.
- A builder. When a task is slow or repetitive, you build something to fix it. You have made tools, automations or apps with AI, and you can explain how they work.
- Curious and entrepreneurial. You look for new ways to solve problems, ship before things are perfect, and take ownership without waiting to be asked. You may have worked in a start-up or built something of your own, though that is not a requirement.
- Good judgement with AI. You know where AI helps, where it gets things wrong, and when a human should check the output.
- A clear communicator. You write well, present with confidence, and can explain technical work to people who are not technical.
- Collaborative. You enjoy working across strategy, data, creative and client teams, and you share what you learn.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Job Responsibilities
Client Strategy
- Lead social strategy across a portfolio of clients, from always-on to campaigns, built on a clear insight, tension and proposition tied to business goals.
- Work with Data & Insights to turn social data, performance results and cultural signals into strategy, rather than treating data as a reporting step at the end.
- Brief and partner with creative, production, creator and paid teams so strategy shapes the work all the way through.
- Present to clients with confidence, challenge their thinking, and make the complex simple.
- Support the Strategy Director on pitches, bringing research, insight and strategic thinking to new business.
Building and Innovation
- Regularly own innovation-led projects, such as internal tools, automated workflows, prototypes and new product ideas for Jungle and our clients.
- Use AI tools beyond chat (Claude Code, automation platforms, custom assistants, vibe-coded apps) to make the team faster and the work better.
- Build responsibly: test what you make, protect client data, and document tools so others can use and maintain them.
- Share what works, raising the AI confidence of the wider agency.
Thought Leadership
- Turn what we learn from clients, our owned brands and our own experiments into points of view, articles and newsletter content.
- Help shape Jungle's strategic products and ways of working as the department evolves.
