Senior Social Strategist – Dove
Location: London (hybrid, 2–3 days/week from client offices)
About the Role
OLIVER is the world’s first specialist in designing, building, and running bespoke in-house agencies and marketing ecosystems for brands. As part of The Brandtech Group, we leverage cutting-edge AI technology to redefine creativity, efficiency, and decision-making.
We’re looking for a Senior Social Strategist to lead Dove’s global social strategy—from obsession to execution—ensuring Dove remains the most culturally relevant brand on social media.
In this role, you’ll:
- Shape Dove’s end-to-end strategic narrative across 15+ markets
- Drive ** data-driven, culturally resonant content**—navigating fast-paced newsroom dynamics while embracing precision
- Cultivate high-impact creator relationships, turning conversations into cultural moments
- Balance global brand integrity with platform-native innovations (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Transform insights into stand-out briefs, aligning creative vision with audience behaviour
The brief is simple: Make Dove the most culturally relevant brand online, through creative freedom and purpose-driven storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Campaign Direction
- Lead social-first strategy, including content calendars, campaign platforms, and always-on frameworks aligned with Dove’s purpose
- Develop audience-focused strategies that deepen connections, driving engagement, affinity, and culture shifts
- Partner with creative teams to refine briefs, ensuring Garden pathholder from ideation to execution
- Oversee creator and influencer partnerships, ensuring authenticity and relevance to Dove’s diverse audiences
Insight & Analytics
- Mine data, cultural signals, and platform trends to uncover opportunities for meaningful dialogue
- Translate social listening, analytics, and qualitative research into actionable strategic recommendations
- Benchmark competitors, track, and improve performance using data to optimise strategies

Talent Development & Process Innovation
- Mentor junior strategists, building expertise in social strategy, briefing, and creative collaboration
- Align and refine briefing templates, insight frameworks, and social-speed tools for scalability
Adaptive Platform & Emerging Opportunity
- Stay agile, monitoring platform evolutions, creative tools, or viral trends, and translating them into Dove’s context
- Advocate for AI-driven insights and workflow optimisation, leveraging Gen AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity) to accelerate research and hypothesis testing
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications & Skills)
Core Experience
- 8+ years of digital or social strategy, with a focus on consumer brands (beauty, FMCG, wellness preferred)
- Deep expertise in platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)—understanding audience behaviour, algorithm shifts, and content discovery
- Proven ability to craft measurable, impactful campaigns, demonstrating creativity and analytical rigor
- Experience working in beauty, personal care, or mission-driven brands—with capability to adapt cross-market
Technical & Strategic Proficiencies
- Strong briefing skills: Turning research (both data and cultural) into sharper creative directives
- Content creators & influencer partnerships: Experience in structuring authentic collaborations
- Data fluency: Using social listening tools, Google Analytics, or regionalised insights for strategic insights
- Voiceovers: For a brand known for storytelling and cultural relevance—your point of view should inform numb
AI & Agentic Thinking
- Proficiency in using AI tools (e.g., Gen AI, Gen Prompts, research Assistants) to enhance research, recommend strategic hypotheses, and validate insights
- Ability to stress-test campaign hypotheses with AI data before execution
- Critical mindset: Balancing AI capabilities with nuanced human judgment—ensuring equitable translation into action
