Senior Social Strategist – Global Integrated Agency

A global integrated communications agency is looking for a Senior Social Strategist to take ownership of the social strategy for a key account - a globally recognised brand with a hub structure spanning the UK and wider Europe. This is a high-visibility, client-facing role for someone who wants to be a genuine strategic partner to a major brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive social strategy across a retail account, working across multiple markets
  • Act as a key day-to-day contact for senior client stakeholders, attending client meetings and key brand moments
  • Analyse platform performance across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube, identifying opportunities to optimise and innovate
  • Collaborate closely with creative, influencer, strategy and client services teams on integrated and social-led campaigns
  • Confidently and constructively challenge client thinking to push the work forward
  • Take on line management responsibility as you become established in the role

Skills & Experience

  • Proven agency-side or brand side experience in a dedicated social strategy role
  • Experience working on a large, globally recognised brand is essential
  • Strong understanding of the fashion or retail sector
  • Confident, multi-platform expertise across major social channels, with awareness of the European landscape
  • Experience working within a hub or multi-market structure is a strong advantage
  • Comfortable operating as a strategic counsel to senior stakeholders, including pushing back where needed
