The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Social Strategist to join a growing creative agency and play a key role in shaping how major brands show up across social.
This is a role for someone who genuinely understands social platforms — not just how they work today, but where they’re heading. You’ll bring strong strategic thinking, cultural awareness and platform expertise to a mix of high-profile B2B and B2C brands, developing strategies that translate into work people actually want to engage with.
You’ll sit within a creative and strategy team, working closely with senior creative and client leadership. This isn’t a role that sits at the level of strategy decks alone: you’ll develop the thinking, brief the creative team, stay close to the work and help ensure the final output delivers against the strategy.
You’ll be comfortable moving between developing a channel strategy, analysing platform data, briefing creators and presenting recommendations to senior clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
Social Strategy
- Develop social strategies across organic and paid channels, covering audience, platform, content and channel strategy.
- Lead research, discovery and insight work to understand audiences, brands and competitive landscapes.
- Develop strategic narratives and points of view that give creative teams a clear direction.
- Use platform analytics and performance data to identify opportunities and improve recommendations.
- Stay ahead of platform developments, algorithm changes, emerging formats and evolving audience behaviours.
- Use AI tools to accelerate research, audience analysis and strategic development.
- Turn cultural and platform intelligence into practical strategic frameworks.
Creative & Content
- Translate strategic thinking into clear, inspiring creative briefs.
- Work closely with creatives, filmmakers, editors, designers and creators throughout the production process.
- Ensure social-first thinking is embedded into content from the outset rather than added as an afterthought.
- Write social copy when required, including captions, scripts and longer-form platform content.
- Review and challenge creative work to ensure it delivers against the strategic idea.
- Contribute social thinking to pitches, proposals and new business opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Kind of Person Who Will Thrive Here
You’ll be someone who has put in the hours on social and has genuine conviction about what works and why.
You don’t need to be a people manager from day one, but you should be ready to take ownership, influence senior stakeholders and become an authority within the team.
You’re curious, culturally switched-on and commercially aware. You know how to turn platform and audience intelligence into ideas. You care about both performance and meaningful creative work, and you’re confident explaining the difference.
Most importantly, you’ll be collaborative, driven, creative and human — with the ambition to make work that gets noticed and delivers results.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Social Strategist looking to step into a senior role within a growing creative agency.
