Liquid Personnel is recruiting

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Senior Social Worker seeking an experienced professional for its client's Adults Mental Health Team at Dudley. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled practitioner to provide professional leadership, expert social work interventions, and support to adults experiencing mental health needs and their careers.

The successful candidate will act as an exemplary practitioner, promoting strengths-based and person-centred practice while managing a complex caseload. You will work collaboratively with service users, carers, health professionals, and partner agencies to support positive outcomes, maximise independence, and ensure individuals remain active and valued members of their communities. This role requires a confident practitioner with strong knowledge of Adult Social Care and Mental Health legislation, safeguarding practice, risk management, and multidisciplinary working.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Managing and monitoring a complex caseload involving adults with mental health needs, safeguarding concerns, and high levels of risk.
  • Undertaking Care Act assessments, reviews, support planning, and interventions using strengths-based and person-centred approaches.
  • Completing Mental Capacity Assessments and contributing to Best Interest decision-making processes where required.
  • Leading safeguarding enquiries and making threshold decisions in line with Adult Safeguarding procedures and the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal.
  • Providing professional leadership, mentoring, and support to less experienced social workers, ASYEs, students, and social care colleagues.
  • Participating in duty systems and supporting operational decision-making, including deputising for the Assistant Team Manager or Team Manager when required.
  • Chairing and facilitating assessment, planning, safeguarding, and review meetings.
  • Coordinating, implementing, and reviewing support plans to ensure individuals receive effective and outcome-focused services.
  • Working collaboratively with mental health services, community teams, families, carers, and partner agencies to deliver integrated support.
  • Promoting independence through strengths-based practice, community resources, Direct Payments, and Personal Budgets where appropriate.
  • Contributing to service development, quality assurance activities, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Maintaining accurate, timely, and high-quality case records, assessments, reports, and documentation in line with legislative and organisational requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
