Job Title: Senior Social Worker - Integrated Access and Referral Team Location: Winsford Pay Rate: £38.99 per hour
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Senior Social Worker for its client’s Integrated Access and Referral Team in Winsford, Cheshire West. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Integrated Access and Referral Team (i-ART), which serves as the first point of contact for the public and professionals wishing to make referrals regarding children and their families. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in supporting the Team Manager to deliver a high-quality, intensive access service as the front door for families across the continuum of need. You will manage risk, make critical decisions about thresholds of need for children, young people, and vulnerable adults, and provide guidance to a multi-disciplinary team.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Support the Team Manager in leading an effective access service for families.
- Make key decisions on thresholds of need and manage risk for children and vulnerable adults.
- Provide supervision and day-to-day support to social workers, early support officers, i-ART officers, and staff from various disciplines.
- Ensure timely and accurate assessments, decision-making, and referrals in line with statutory requirements.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and promote best practice across the service.

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have;
- Social Work England registration.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
- Evidence of experience managing staff through supervision and day-to-day support.
- Post-qualified experience in children’s services.
