Liquid Personnel is recruiting 2 experienced Senior Social Workers
Liquid Personnel is recruiting 2 experienced Senior Social Workers to join the Safeguarding, Assessment & Support (SAS) Team within Children's Social Care for its client. Based at the Hartlepool Civic Centre, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated service committed to safeguarding children and supporting families across the borough.
As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in:
- Undertaking assessments
- Managing complex cases
- Providing effective interventions to ensure children are protected and supported to achieve positive outcomes
You will work within a supportive team environment, collaborating with partner agencies and contributing to high-quality social work practice.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Manage a complex caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding and support.
- Undertake Child and Family Assessments and develop effective care and support plans.
- Carry out child protection investigations and statutory interventions in line with legislation and local procedures.
- Work directly with children, young people, and families to reduce risk and improve outcomes.
- Prepare reports for child protection conferences, court proceedings, reviews, and other statutory meetings.
- Maintain accurate and timely case records, assessments, and reports.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children and promote their welfare.

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have;
- Social Work England registration.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Significant post-qualified experience within Children's Social Care.
- Experience working within a Safeguarding, Assessment & Support or similar frontline team.
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
