This is a senior leadership role requiring a dynamic individual who can operate effectively within a fast-paced and demanding environment, ensuring operational excellence, contractual compliance and exceptional client service across multiple locations throughout Scotland. - Identify areas of non-compliance or elevated risk and develop robust action plans to achieve timely resolution.
- Lead service reviews, audits and performance meetings, ensuring continual improvement initiatives are implemented and monitored.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with SCTS, COPFS and other key stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner and escalation point for operational matters.
- Represent the company at client meetings, governance forums and operational reviews, providing professional leadership and effective communication at all levels.
- Provide cover and support for the Account Manager during periods of absence, ensuring continuity of service delivery, client engagement and operational performance.
- Support financial performance through effective budget management, cost control and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Respond effectively to emerging operational challenges, demonstrating sound judgement, resilience and the ability to make informed decisions within a fast-moving environment.
- Be prepared to travel extensively across Scotland, including remote and rural locations, sometimes at short notice, to support operational requirements and client needs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
