The Role
- Architect and lead the development of a new CAE platform
- Design and implement scalable and extensible architectures
- Develop cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
- Select appropriate languages and platforms for optimal solutions
- Grow and lead a team of software engineers
- Contribute to a forward-thinking approach using AI-assisted development processes

What You'll Need
- Significant experience in software architecture and system design
- Proven track record in developing complex engineering or scientific software systems
- Technological breadth across desktop, web, cloud, and distributed computing
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices
- Experience leading software engineering teams in a startup or scaleup environment
- Existing UK work permission without time limit or sponsorship
