Job Title: Senior Software Developer

Purpose
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our growing team to work on both the current version of our market leading product, and also play a part in the development of its successor. This position will be in our development team, report directly to the company Managing Director, and work closely with the group CTO.
Created as a result of our company growth, this position is within our Scrum team developing safety critical software systems for hazardous offshore installations.

Duties and Essential Role Responsibilities
As a senior software developer, duties and essential role responsibilities include:
- Working as part of an agile team using Scrum in a Dev(Sec)Ops environment
- Developing and maintaining C# and JavaScript code to a high standard on a Windows platform using Visual Studio and in an MVC web application context
- Active participation in product development
- Active participation in further extending the use of AI as part of a DevSecOps culture
Skills, Qualifications, and Other Requirements
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience as a senior software developer, and be familiar with all aspects of the SDLC. A relevant degree or college higher vocational qualification is desirable.

A knowledge of OO, asynchronous coding, automated testing, databases/SQL, CI/CD, and use of AI tools would be beneficial, as would an understanding of UI/UX.
Good communication skills are essential.
The successful candidate should be self-motivated, organised, have a positive attitude, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills, and an aptitude for solving complex problems with a flexible and creative approach is key.
Experience of Azure DevOps (or similar) is highly desirable.
