Salary - up to £120k

About the Role
We're looking for a Python Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable backend systems and applications used by customers and internal teams.

- Develop robust Python applications and services from concept through to production.
- Build APIs, integrations and backend systems that support business-critical products.
- Design clean, maintainable and scalable solutions that can support future growth.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews and engineering best practices.
- Improve application performance, reliability and security across existing systems.
- Work with cloud-based infrastructure and modern development tools.
- Take ownership of projects and help drive technical delivery from idea through to launch.

What We're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience with Python development.
- Experience building APIs, backend systems and production-grade applications.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of software architecture, testing and engineering best practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for solving technical challenges.
