Location - Central London

Role – Senior Software Engineer

Tech - PHP, Node, Typescript, PostgreSQL, TDD, Vue

Salary - up to £120k

About the Role

We're looking for a Python Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable backend systems and applications used by customers and internal teams.

  • Develop robust Python applications and services from concept through to production.
  • Build APIs, integrations and backend systems that support business-critical products.
  • Design clean, maintainable and scalable solutions that can support future growth.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews and engineering best practices.
  • Improve application performance, reliability and security across existing systems.
  • Work with cloud-based infrastructure and modern development tools.
  • Take ownership of projects and help drive technical delivery from idea through to launch.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong commercial experience with Python development.
  • Experience building APIs, backend systems and production-grade applications.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of software architecture, testing and engineering best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for solving technical challenges.
