About the job
This position is for a senior software engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development and a passion for building robust, scalable systems. We are looking for an engineer with a strong background in the C#.NET ecosystem, and a preference for candidates with significant experience on AWS.
Are you ready for a challenge? We’re looking for a dynamic software engineer excited to help scale a fintech start-up. Here, you won’t be bogged down by legacy code, you’ll have the opportunity to build innovative, greenfield projects. You’ll be responsible for developing high-quality applications across our platform, as well as designing and implementing testable, scalable code. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, eager to dive into new technologies, and ready to contribute to architectural decisions as we scale.

Responsibilities
- Develop and test backend applications
- Analyse and maintain existing software
- Design highly scalable, testable code
- Identify and resolve programming bugs
- Contribute to architectural and technical decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine platform features

Technical Skills Required
- Proficiency in C#.NET (Java experience will also be considered)
- Experience in testing software and version control
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases
- AWS experience
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Github)
Nice to Have
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Exposure to Docker or Kubernetes
