Senior Software Engineer – React / TypeScript / Python / AI

Salary: £100,000 – £175,000 + Equity

Location: London (4 days a week)

Company: High-growth Enterprise AI startup

We’re partnered with one of London’s most exciting early-stage AI startups, founded by a world-class engineering team and backed by two of the world’s leading technology investors.

They’re rapidly scaling their team and looking for an exceptional Senior Software Engineer to help build a new generation of enterprise software.

Their mission is ambitious: enable the people who understand complex enterprise problems to build production-grade software simply by describing what they need in plain English. Unlike typical AI coding tools, the platform has been built specifically for the enterprise – secure, compliant, reliable, maintainable, and capable of operating at scale.

The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll have significant ownership over both the product and technical direction of the company.

You’ll be:

  • Designing and building production-grade applications using React, TypeScript, and Python
  • Building sophisticated AI-powered products used by major enterprise customers
  • Working across the full stack, from React interfaces through TypeScript and Python backend services
  • Solving complex engineering problems around scalability, security, and reliability
  • Working directly with an experienced ex-Palantir founding and engineering team
  • Taking products from concept through to production and customer deployment
  • Helping define engineering standards and architecture as the company rapidly scales

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why Join?

This is a rare opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a heavily funded AI company while the engineering team is still exceptionally small.

  • Real customers: The technology is already live with enterprise customers across manufacturing, automotive, retail, and financial services.
  • Meaningful equity: £100,000–£175,000 base salary alongside a highly competitive equity package.

If you’re a Software Engineer with strong React, TypeScript, and Python experience who wants to join an ambitious AI startup at the beginning of its growth journey, this is an exceptional opportunity.

We’re particularly interested in speaking with Software Engineers who have built products end-to-end and want the ownership, pace, and technical challenge that comes with joining a world-class early-stage team.
