If you want to work on infrastructure that matters — software that keeps tens of thousands of people connected every day — this is the role for you.

About the Role

ASK4 provides managed internet connectivity and smart building technology to multi-tenant properties across Europe. Our network platform underpins homes and workspaces for residents in student accommodation, build-to-rent, and multi-dwelling properties at scale.

As a Senior Software Engineer in our Network Systems team, you'll design, build, and operate the software that keeps this platform running. From automation tooling and AI-powered network intelligence to provisioning and monitoring systems, your work will directly influence how reliably our services perform at scale.

You'll bring independent technical judgement, contribute to architectural decisions, and play an active role in raising the capability of the team around you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain back-end systems supporting ASK4's network infrastructure — including provisioning, monitoring, and automation tooling
  • Take end-to-end technical ownership of significant workstreams, from requirements and design through to production deployment
  • Contribute to and drive architectural decisions, including technology selection, service decomposition, and integration patterns
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Helm charts, and Kubernetes configurations for production and non-production environments
  • Integrate with network management systems, message brokers, and third-party APIs
  • Instrument and monitor applications using observability tooling, taking responsibility for service health in production
  • Provide technical mentorship to mid-level engineers and act as an escalation point for complex problems
  • Contribute to development standards, code review practices, and shared tooling across the engineering teams

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
