Software Engineer - NPPV3 Cleared, Contract
Ncounter is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to work on a complex technology programme within UK policing, building secure applications and services across data-heavy environments.
About the Role
This is a hands-on engineering role requiring active NPPV3 clearance and previous experience delivering technology within policing.

- Active NPPV3 clearance
- Strong Java and/or Python development skills
- Previous experience across UK policing data and technology programmes
- AWS and cloud application development
- OpenShift, Kubernetes or similar container platforms
- Apache technologies, ideally Apache NiFi
- Building secure applications that process, integrate or manage complex data
- CI/CD, DevOps and modern software engineering practices
