About the Role:

Seeking Experienced Senior Software Engineer wanted for a Full time for a remote role within a Global specialist in bespoke software solutions

Fully remote with once quarterly visits to Cheltenham for events, workshops

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join a dynamic team specialising in the development of bespoke applications that streamline business processes. The role involves working on secure, highly regulated systems where data integrity and compliance are critical.

Join a passionate team responsible for designing, developing, and supporting bespoke web-based solutions for complex operational environments. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle to create and maintain secure, high-integrity applications tailored for highly regulated sectors, including systems that manage intricate operational processes such as logistics and justice sector contracts. This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects where your work directly supports critical operations.

You’ll be joining a team of 12 developers – with expectations for this to double in size over the next 12 to 18 months

Your Role & Responsibilities:

As a key member of the development team, you’ll play a pivotal role in:

  • Developing and maintaining bespoke web applications
  • Leading full-stack development efforts, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Participate in analysis and support activities contributing to technical decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Mentoring junior developers, fostering growth and best practices within the team.
  • Conducting code reviews to maintain standards and improve overall code quality.
  • Providing ongoing support for existing applications and systems

About you:

  • Be a strong collaborator and team player, thriving in a supportive and dynamic environment.
