We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
- Play a critical role in the sustainment of current environments and delivery of new capabilities.
- Develop solutions to complex technical issues, regularly employing ingenuity and creativity.
- Deliver high-quality, production-ready software through hands-on development (backend and frontend).
- Contribute to full-stack delivery, including Java backend services/REST APIs and modern single-page applications using React/TypeScript or equivalent frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to established code review standards, quality gates, and maintain the build/deployment pipeline.
- Mentor and support less experienced engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and coaching.

What You'll Need
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with substantial hands-on delivery.
- Strong experience with Java (Java 8 and modern versions like 17 and 21) and REST API design/implementation.
- Modern SPA development experience using React, TypeScript, Angular, or Vue.
- Strong understanding of design patterns and a structured approach to software development.
- Proven experience delivering complex changes in production environments.
- Familiarity with Agile software development processes, CI/CD concepts, and relevant tooling (e.g., Atlassian suite).
