Forward Deployed Engineer
Hybrid Working - London
Permanent
A leading financial services organisation is seeking a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer to modernise how its development teams build, test and release critical software. Combining software engineering, DevOps and SRE, you will work directly with different teams to identify technical bottlenecks and implement practical solutions, with approximately 70% of the role focused on coding and configuration.

You will:
- Build automated test suites and CI/CD pipelines
- Containerise applications using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Upgrade Java, TypeScript, and Spring applications
- Improve security, observability, and deployment resilience
- Gain exposure to Ansible, Liquibase, Renovate, Linux, and AI-assisted engineering
