Role Description
As a Senior Software Engineer at Pare Studio, you will design, build, and maintain robust software solutions that power custom tools, AI integrations, and web applications for clients. You will work on-site in London, collaborating closely with designers, AI specialists, and client teams to translate product requirements into scalable, secure back-end architectures and clean APIs.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:


Get help with your application

- Writing production-ready code
- Reviewing peer implementations
- Improving performance and reliability
- Contributing to technical decision-making across projects
You will also help define best practices, improve internal tooling and workflows, and support integration of AI services into existing systems. This is a contract role, with expectations of high autonomy, clear communication, and strong ownership of deliverables.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with experience building and maintaining production services and APIs.
- Advanced Programming skills in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, or similar) and familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience designing scalable architectures, working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), and using relational or NoSQL databases.
- Background integrating third-party APIs and, ideally, working with AI/ML or LLM-based services.
- Comfort with modern development practices, including version control (Git), code review, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability tooling.
- Ability to work on-site in London, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in senior or lead engineering roles, preferably in startups, agencies, or product-focused environments; a relevant degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
