πŸš€ Senior Embedded Electronics Engineer – Manchester

πŸ“ Manchester | Hybrid

πŸ’° Competitive Salary + Bonus

πŸ’» Embedded C/C++ | RTOS | ARM | STM32 | Electronics

Are you an experienced Embedded Engineer who enjoys working across both firmware and hardware, rather than being limited to one side of product development?

We're working with an established technology business that's expanding its R&D team following continued growth and investment into a number of new product development projects.

They're looking for a Senior Embedded Electronics Engineer to take a key role across the full product lifecycle – from initial concept and architecture through to development, board bring-up, testing, and production.

What you'll be working on:

  • Developing real-time embedded firmware in C/C++
  • Working with ARM Cortex-M, STM32, ESP32, NXP, and similar MCUs
  • Configuring and optimising RTOS / FreeRTOS environments
  • Developing peripheral drivers – SPI, I2C, UART, USB, CAN, Ethernet
  • Board bring-up, bootloader development, and hardware debugging
  • Analogue & digital electronics, schematics, and PCB development
  • Embedded security, reliability, and system-level debugging
  • Leading architecture decisions and mentoring other engineers

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
