Job Overview
Are you a Senior Software Engineer with strong C++ expertise looking to play a key role in the development of innovative technology solutions, taking projects from concept through to verified software while working on technically challenging products in a collaborative engineering environment?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled software engineering team where you will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from specification and design through to implementation, testing, verification, and ongoing maintenance. You will contribute to the development of new products while also supporting and enhancing existing software solutions.

Responsibilities
- Working closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and collaborators, you will provide technical expertise across a range of software-related activities.
- You will also support the development of junior engineers, acting as a technical mentor and role model within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software for innovative products and solutions.
- Take ownership of software projects from specification through to verification.
- Support and enhance existing software in line with business requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and junior engineers.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on software matters.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with C++
- Experience delivering projects through the full software development lifecycle.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2022/2026.
- Experience with GUI/UX, HCI, Python, or PowerShell is desirable.
- Eligible for SC Clearance.
