The Role
- Develop, test, and maintain Lab projects, products, and initiatives.
- Deliver robust, maintainable, and operationally viable software and infrastructure using technologies like React, Typescript, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and AWS.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues and external partners to understand technical requirements, constraints, and delivery priorities.
- Champion best practices and mentor other engineers through code review and pair programming.
- Troubleshoot technical, data, and integration issues during development and deployment.
- Drive the development of internal tooling, engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and deployment practices.

What You'll Need
- Extensive commercial software engineering experience.
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong experience in at least two of the following: Python, Typescript, Relational databases, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, AWS.
- Solid core software engineering and DevOps skills, including CI/CD, version control, containerisation, and cloud deployment.
- Ability to produce clean, maintainable, well-tested code and provide constructive feedback during code reviews.
- Experience working in a remote-first, iterative agile environment and across the full software lifecycle.
