Mid-Senior Software Developer
Salary: £55,000
We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to join a fast-growing SaaS product scale-up, providing technical leadership, mentoring and hands-on contributions across a broad technology stack.
What you'll be doing
- Guiding and mentoring the development team on best practices, coding standards and architectural decisions
- Overseeing the development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives
- Working with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements and shape technical solutions
- Contributing to Sprint planning, story pointing and task allocation
- Supporting technical input into proposals and scoping where required
- Conducting regular technical one-to-ones, coaching on coding techniques and problem-solving
- Taking ownership of project deliverables, ensuring high-quality, scalable software
- Providing technical leadership through code reviews and hands-on development

What we're looking for
- Strong experience with Angular, including components, services, directives, pipes and modules
- Confident with SCSS, including nesting, inheritance and responsive layouts
- Solid JavaScript and TypeScript skills, including classes, interfaces, generics and decorators
- Experience with C# and .NET Core for building web APIs and services
- Proficiency with Entity Framework, including models, queries and migrations
- Strong SQL skills, including stored procedures, functions and query optimisation
- Experience administering Azure resources (app services, storage, databases, networking, security)
- Confident with Git workflows and dependency management via NPM/NuGet

This is a mid-senior role. We're open to a strong mid-level developer looking to step up into a senior remit, or a mid-level developer seeking a mid-level position at a lower salary banding.
You'll bring excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the resilience to see tasks through to completion, along with a genuine interest in mentoring and developing others.
