We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

  • Build and evolve digital products across Risk, Pricing, and Trading (RPT) Middle Office technology.
  • Develop software supporting decision-making across trading and middle-office activities, collaborating with traders, schedulers, risk analysts, and finance teams.
  • Shape technical design, influence architectural decisions, and help evolve the technology platform.
  • Take Data and AI solutions from experimentation to production, including agentic applications and multi-agent systems.
  • Build backend services, platforms, and APIs using modern engineering practices and automated testing.
  • Design solutions using event-driven and domain-driven architecture patterns, and develop streaming applications for low-latency data processing.

What You'll Need

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Experience building distributed, cloud-native applications on platforms like GKE, OpenShift, EKS, AKS, or Cloud Foundry.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Java, C#, Python, Scala, or Go.
  • Experience with messaging technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ, and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Knowledge of reactive programming, distributed systems, Domain-Driven Design, and modern engineering practices (TDD, CI/CD).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and experience working in regulated environments.
