About The Gap Partnership

The Gap Partnership is the world's leading negotiation consultancy, helping organisations create sustainable competitive advantage through improved commercial performance, stronger stakeholder alignment and more effective decision-making.

For more than 25 years, we have partnered with many of the world's largest organisations across consumer goods, retail, healthcare, technology, industrials and professional services. We work with executive teams to solve complex commercial challenges, drive organisational change and deliver measurable business impact.

Our technology plays an increasingly important role in how we deliver that impact, and we're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help drive the next stage of our evolution.

This is not a role where you'll be a small cog in a large development machine. You'll join a highly collaborative technology team where engineers have genuine ownership across the full software lifecycle, from architecture and development through to cloud infrastructure, DevOps, security and production support.

We're investing heavily in technology, automation and AI, and you'll play a key role in shaping the platforms that support our consultants, clients and business operations globally.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
