Senior Software Engineer
Java, AWS & Cloud Engineering
Location: London / Hybrid Working
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 + Benefits Package
About the Role
We're supporting a growing technology consultancy delivering secure, business-critical software solutions across a range of major government and enterprise programmes.
This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on Software Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while working across the full software development lifecycle. You'll join an Agile engineering team building modern cloud-native applications and contributing to large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

- Designing, building and enhancing modern software solutions using Java and cloud technologies.
- Working across the full software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment and support.
- Developing scalable applications using modern engineering principles and best practices.
- Building CI/CD pipelines and supporting automated testing approaches.
- Deploying solutions into AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Collaborating with clients, architects and engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges.
What We're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience with Java development.
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
- Full-stack experience, ideally including React, JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and modern delivery approaches.
- Current SC Clearance is highly desirable, although clearable candidates will also be considered.
