Our engineering teams are trusted to make sound decisions and empowered to act on them. You’ll join a friendly, energetic environment with a fast pace of delivery, working closely with engineering, UX design, product management, and data partners.

Your Impact

  • Design, build, and evolve high-quality end-user features used by millions of people worldwide, with a particular focus on native, performance-sensitive application development.
  • Contribute to and help lead architectural decisions within your domain, creating scalable, maintainable designs aligned with the broader platform strategy.
  • Break down complex product requirements into clear technical designs and executable work, guiding delivery from concept to production.
  • Develop robust, well-tested production code. Much of our existing codebase is written in modern C++, and you will be supported in building deeper C++ expertise if your experience comes from another relevant language.
  • Improve engineering efficiency through automation, including development tooling, test automation, CI/CD workflows, diagnostics, and repeatable operational processes.
  • Use product telemetry, operational data, and customer feedback to investigate issues, identify trends and root causes, and prioritise improvements that measurably enhance reliability and customer experience.

  • Mentor engineers through design discussions, pairing, code reviews, constructive feedback, and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to influence roadmap decisions and balance customer value, technical health, and long-term sustainability.
  • Use AI-assisted engineering tools thoughtfully to improve productivity and accelerate delivery, while retaining ownership of the quality, security, and correctness of production solutions.
  • Bring curiosity, accountability, and positivity, helping to foster a culture of ownership, learning, inclusion, and collaboration.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
