Role Description
As a Senior Software Engineer (C#.NET) at Lolly, you will design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs that power core product features. You will work closely with product managers, other engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, testable, and maintainable solutions using modern C#.NET frameworks. You will also mentor less experienced engineers, advocate for best practices in software development, and participate in continuous integration and deployment processes. This is a full-time hybrid role based in the Tel Aviv District, Israel, with the flexibility to work part of the time from home.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, focusing on C#.NET services, RESTful APIs, and integration with databases.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, including writing production-grade code, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in large-scale, modular systems.
- Experience with modern .NET frameworks (e.g.,.NET Core), cloud platforms (such as AWS or Azure), and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and communicate technical ideas clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or equivalent experience are an advantage.
- Prior experience in senior or lead engineering roles, including mentoring and code review responsibilities, is highly beneficial.
