πŸš€ Senior Software Engineer – Product & Platform | GreenTech

πŸ“ UK-based | Remote-first

πŸ’° Β£70-100k

Want to build technology that has a visible impact on the world around us?

We're working with a growing green-tech company using science, data and software to help make cities and land greener. They're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of their platform end-to-end.

This is a genuine founding engineering role. You'll work directly with the CEO and a Senior Data Scientist, shaping the architecture, roadmap and product rather than simply maintaining someone else's.

πŸ”¨ What you'll own

  • Build and ship features for site analysis and planting design
  • Own the platform across security, reliability and usability
  • Harden and launch the existing AWS environment
  • Own infrastructure-as-code and the deployment pipeline
  • Build proper alerting, observability and disaster-recovery processes
  • Improve performance, accessibility and overall product polish
  • Develop multi-tenant SaaS capabilities
  • Work directly with users and the CEO to turn real requirements into product features

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
