Founding Senior Full Stack Engineer #2 | YC Healthcare AI

London | £80K-100K + 2% equity | Visa sponsorship | 4-5 days onsite

I'm exclusively hiring Engineer #2 for one of Europe's fastest-growing pre-seed AI startups.

They're building an AI platform for pharma commercial teams, sitting on a healthcare dataset covering 9.2M+ clinicians, 3bn prescribing claims and $11bn in tracked payments.

They've raised $2M at a $20M valuation, are on track for £1M+ ARR in year one and are close to signing one of the world's largest pharma companies.

The Senior Full Stack Engineer Role

You'll join as Engineer #2 and work across the entire product, from the data underneath it through to the features enterprise customers use.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Think data pipelines, mapping and normalisation alongside Python services, AI-powered search, analytics, enterprise workflows and frontend product development.

This needs someone autonomous who can understand the business problem, decide what should be built and ship it without needing a detailed brief.

What They're Looking For

The strongest signal is something you've already built:

  • You were a core engineer on a data/AI-heavy B2B product
  • You helped take it from building through to adoption by at least one large enterprise customer
  • You've worked hands-on with data pipelines, mapping or normalisation
  • You're genuinely full stack and comfortable across backend and frontend
  • You've built for a regulated/compliance-conscious industry and understand things like SOC2
  • You're comfortable owning ambiguous product problems in a tiny engineering team

Exact stack match matters less than the problems you've solved.
