The Opportunity
This isn't a role where you'll spend your days delivering tickets from a backlog.
You'll be trusted to influence the direction of a sophisticated healthcare platform used by organisations around the world. From designing scalable APIs and backend services to shaping architecture and improving platform performance, you'll play a key role in how the technology evolves.
You'll work across product, engineering and infrastructure teams, helping to solve complex technical problems while balancing scalability, reliability, security and customer value.

What You'll Be Doing
Designing & Building
- Develop scalable backend services and high-performance APIs
- Deliver features from concept through to production
- Build and enhance cloud-native applications
- Integrate external healthcare and third-party systems
- Write clean, secure, thoroughly tested code
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle
Driving Technical Excellence
- Influence platform architecture and long-term technical strategy
- Improve scalability, resilience and system performance
- Help reduce technical debt and simplify complex systems
- Establish and promote engineering best practices
- Contribute to critical technology and architectural decisions
Supporting the Engineering Team
- Collaborate closely with Product, QA and DevOps teams
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
- Mentor engineers and share knowledge across the team
- Champion continuous improvement and engineering quality
- Help create a culture of innovation, ownership and excellence
