Referment has partnered with an ambitious fintech that's rebuilding the technology used by some of the world's most sophisticated investment managers. Their mission is simple: replace decades-old legacy systems with a modern, cloud-native platform that brings portfolio management, trading, risk analytics and AI together in one seamless product.

You'll work directly with experienced founders and technical leaders, influence architectural decisions, and build software that will be relied upon by leading investment firms across the globe.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll design and build high-performance software across the entire platform, from backend services and APIs through to cloud infrastructure and modern user interfaces.
Working closely with the founders, CTO and product team, you'll solve difficult technical problems, contribute to architectural decisions and help build a platform designed to replace legacy investment management software.
Who We're Looking For
The client is looking for exceptional engineers rather than someone who simply ticks every technology box.
You'll Likely Have
- Experience working within Capital Markets, Investment Management, Electronic Trading or Financial Technology
- Strong commercial experience with C, C++ or another systems programming language
- Rust experience, whether that's commercial, open source or personal projects
- Excellent software engineering fundamentals
- Experience designing scalable backend systems and APIs
- A passion for solving technically challenging problems
