Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) - Warminster, Hybrid - Security Cleared - Up to £90,000

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering innovative software for large-scale, mission critical programmes. This is an opportunity to work on complex technical challenges where you'll have genuine influence over architecture, engineering standards and the products you build.

The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and developing modern, scalable applications across the full technology stack. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, product teams and customers to build intuitive user experiences, resilient backend services and robust integrations with wider enterprise systems.

This is a hands-on engineering position with real ownership, where you'll help define technical direction while mentoring others and driving engineering excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and building full stack applications from frontend through to backend and database
  • Developing modern web applications using Angular, Java and SQL technologies
  • Creating APIs and integrations with enterprise platforms and external systems
  • Building secure, scalable and maintainable software with quality built in from day one
  • Working with event-driven architectures and near real-time data where appropriate
  • Improving CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability and engineering best practices
  • Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to shape requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Mentoring fellow engineers and contributing to a strong engineering culture

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
