About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to design and build internal software used across the business. This role blends backend, frontend, and automation engineering, with a clear focus on internal products rather than customer-facing features. You will work closely with teams across the organisation to turn operational challenges into scalable, reliable internal tools.
You’ll own systems end to end: from UI to APIs, data, and integrations. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys shipping, iterating, and building solutions that save time, reduce errors, and improve how teams work.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing and building internal web applications, tools, and dashboards from scratch and on top of existing systems.
- Writing production code across the stack, including backend services, APIs, frontend interfaces, and automations.
- Building and extending APIs, integrations, and workflows to connect internal and third-party systems.
- Developing internal UIs using modern frontend frameworks and collaborating closely with users to improve usability.
- Translating manual or inefficient business processes into secure, well-designed internal products.
- Owning technical design decisions: data models, permissions, integrations, performance, and edge cases.
- Iterating quickly based on internal feedback, usage data, and business priorities.
- Partnering with non-technical stakeholders to understand pain points and turn them into practical solutions.
- Writing lightweight technical documentation and specs for internal systems and workflows.
- Monitoring and maintaining the tools you ship, including debugging issues and shipping improvements quickly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
