Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer
Futures are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to support the development and deployment of software products within UK policing environments.
This is a hands-on development role for someone who can work autonomously within a secure environment, contributing across the product lifecycle from technical design and development through to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy secure, scalable software solutions
- Build modern front-end applications using React
- Develop and integrate backend services and APIs
- Build and deploy cloud solutions within AWS
- Develop solutions using AWS Lambda and serverless architectures
- Support the deployment of software into secure UK policing environments
- Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions
- Work closely with product and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into working software
- Support the integration of LLM and AI capabilities where appropriate

Essential Experience
- Strong hands-on software engineering/development background
- Strong commercial experience with React
- Strong AWS experience
- Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless technologies
- Strong API development and integration experience
- Experience building and deploying production-grade software
- Comfortable operating independently in a senior, hands-on development role
- Active SC and NPPV3 clearance

Desirable Experience
- Experience integrating LLMs, Generative AI or AI services
- Previous experience delivering technology within UK policing
- Experience deploying applications into secure or highly regulated environments
- Knowledge of modern DevOps, CI/CD and cloud-native development practices
