Senior Software Engineer (Azure)
Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum (negotiable dependent on experience)
Job Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Hybrid working opportunity requiring 1–2 days onsite per week or fortnight from the IB Global Centre in Cardiff (UK)

About the Job
The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining critical business systems used by globally distributed internal and external stakeholders (colleagues, schools, candidates, examiners, institutions, third-party systems, etc.).
- Working with continuously adaptive technologies, ensuring IB systems support organisational change and growth.
- Developing IB products through:
- Projects
- Change Requests (CRs)
- Production software maintenance using Azure or Oracle technology.
- Collaborating in an event-driven, microservices architecture environment, where service-only functionality is prominent.
