Senior Software Engineer (Golang) | Fintech | Contract | Remote UK
A fast-growing, well-funded SaaS fintech is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join an urgent project, helping build and scale the systems powering its core payment capabilities.
Senior Software Engineer role:
- Design, build and maintain high-traffic, scalable backend systems
- Develop new features and core platform capabilities using Go and AWS
- Work with large volumes of data
- Lead technical design discussions and influence architectural decisions
- Produce clean, maintainable and well-tested code

They are looking for an experienced contractor, Senior Software Engineer with strong Go, AWS and systems design experience. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with both the internal team and client stakeholders.
Senior Software Engineer details:
- 📍 100% remote, with UK-based candidates preferred
- 🤝 Initial face-to-face kick-off in London (1-2 days max)
- 💷 £500-590 per day, inside IR35
- 📅 Immediate requirement, with a latest start date of 24 September
- 📄 6 months initial term

Senior Software Engineer interview process:
- The interview process is quick and straightforward, consisting of a 30-minute introductory call followed by a one-hour technical and architecture discussion. There is no coding test.
