Senior Software Engineer
Full Stack Developer (Backend lean)
Kotlin / Springboot / TypeScript / AWS
Initial 6 Month Contract
Fully Remote (UK Based)
£525-550 per day, Outside IR35
Active SC required
We're working with a UK Consultancy client who are putting a team together to deliver a high-profile Cloud-Native Government program.
We need Senior Software Engineers who hold active SC Clearance, and have good Full Stack experience with Kotlin, Spring Boot (Java), Express.js or TypeScript, AWS and Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Urgent Contracts starting ASAP, fully remote, paying up to £550 per day, Outside IR35. Initial 6 month engagement with long term extensions.

The task:
Implement the end to end journey for a service adhering to designs, aligning with departments best practice and meeting business requirements:
- Build, test, and deploy production-ready features using the departments Design System components, custom components, Express.js & TypeScript for frontends. Integrate with existing and implement new Kotlin APIs, adhering to the departments guidelines and best practices.
- Features delivered and tested according to user stories, requirements, and department standards
- Code passes automated tests and is deployed successfully via CI/CD pipelines
- Deployment pipelines and infrastructure code are aligned with the department AWS best practices.
- Automated deployment pipelines are set up and fully operational with GitHub Actions and Terraform.
- Infrastructure code is fully version controlled and deployable in multiple environments (e.g., development, staging, production).
- Successful deployments are made to AWS
