Job Description

Europe and UK Business Onboarding and Verification

About the role

The Europe and UK Onboarding Experience team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build seamless, scalable and compliant onboarding for businesses across the region.

Our focus is business onboarding and verification: creating systems that understand and verify businesses, helping legitimate customers access Wise quickly and safely.

Requirements vary across markets, business types and ownership structures. We manage this complexity through automated verification, flexible information-collection flows and robust controls that reduce financial crime risk without adding unnecessary friction.

By increasing automation and improving the wider onboarding experience, we help Wise onboard more businesses, enter new markets and scale efficiently.

Join us to shape how businesses across Europe and the UK access Wise.

How we work

We keep our customers’ needs at the centre of every decision while building effective controls that help Wise onboard businesses safely and compliantly. We use data, research, customer feedback and operational insights to identify the most important problems, reduce unnecessary friction and strengthen our verification processes.

At Wise, teams have the autonomy to define their priorities and own outcomes. Everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas, challenge assumptions and help shape solutions that balance customer experience, risk management and scalable growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
