About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer II to join RX Global and help design, build and operate secure, scalable software products used across our global digital platforms. In this senior individual contributor role, you will take ownership of complex technical challenges, contribute to technical decision-making, and work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain high-quality software across multiple services and components.
- Produce clear technical designs aligned to RX architecture principles and engineering standards.
- Build secure, resilient, observable and maintainable systems that reduce long-term operational cost.
- Lead pragmatic technical decision-making, making appropriate trade-offs between speed, quality, and sustainability.
- Improve test strategy, deployment confidence, code quality, and engineering practices across the team.
- Own the operational health of services, including monitoring, incident response, post-mortems, and remediation.
- Work closely with Product and business stakeholders to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements
- Experience delivering large, complex, global, or multi-tenant production systems.
- Strong ability to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable, incremental technical solutions.
- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product development teams.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders.
- Proven ownership of production services, including reliability, observability, incident response, and continuous improvement.
- Track record of mentoring engineers and improving team engineering capability.
- Strong proficiency in C#/.NET, JavaScript or TypeScript, React, and SQL/PostgreSQL.
- Experience designing, operating, and optimizing cloud-native applications on AWS, including services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, and Elastic Beanstalk.
