About FindiFox
FindiFox is building privacy-first positioning technology for child safety. Our first product, Spark One, is a small wearable and app that helps parents find their child fast in the crowded, indoor and multi-floor places where GPS gives up. We're a Dorset startup, and this month we started an 18-month R&D project backed by Innovate UK.
The role
You'll own the iOS app that parents rely on when it matters most. That means everything from a calm, clear interface to the deep background work: Bluetooth, location, and the link between the phone, our wearable and our servers. You'll work in Swift and Objective-C++, bridging the app to our shared C++ core, which also runs on Android, our OpenBSD servers and our Zephyr-based firmware.
What you'll do
- Design and build the iOS app, from the interface through to background Apple services
- Write resilient Swift and Objective-C++ that talks reliably to our firmware and servers
- Set the testing strategy for a safety product, where reliability isn't optional
- Own CI/CD and App Store releases
- Take ownership of milestones, architecture decisions and documentation

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
