Senior Software.NET Engineer | Leeds / Hybrid

I’m working with a scale-up technology consultancy that partners with organisations across sectors including healthcare, defence and the wider public and private sectors, helping them solve complex problems and deliver better digital products and services through technology.

They’re looking for Senior and Lead.NET Engineers who want to do more than simply pick up tickets and write code.

This is a consultancy environment where you’ll have genuine ownership; working with clients, shaping technical solutions, contributing to architecture and taking products from design through to production.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Developing strong automated testing and engineering practices
  • Working directly with technical and non-technical client stakeholders
  • Mentoring and supporting other engineers
  • Understanding the wider business and client outcome, not just the technical task
  • For Lead-level engineers, taking ownership of engineering teams, projects or technical work-streams

The important bit…

This isn't a role where technical ability is the only thing that matters.

They’re looking for consultancy-minded engineers who enjoy working with people, are comfortable when requirements aren't perfectly defined, can navigate ambiguity and want to understand why something is being built rather than simply what needs to be built.

If you've got experience in healthcare, defence, technology consultancy or another client-facing environment, even better.

If you're a strong .NET engineer who enjoys the technical AND client-facing side of consultancy, I'd love to have a conversation.
