About Us

At CACI Information Intelligence Group (IIG), we're trusted to solve some of the UK's most complex and mission-critical technology challenges.

As a specialist software consultancy, we design and deliver bespoke digital solutions that support National Security, Defence and Government organisations in making critical decisions and responding to evolving threats. Our teams build cutting-edge systems that have a genuine impact, helping protect the UK's people, infrastructure and national interests.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll join one of our high-performing Agile delivery teams, working directly with customers to build innovative software solutions that solve real-world operational challenges. You'll be involved throughout the entire software lifecycle, from shaping requirements and architecture through to development, deployment and long-term support. This role offers significant variety, technical depth and the opportunity to work across multiple domains, technologies and delivery environments. This will include:

  • Designing, developing and testing robust, scalable software solutions.
  • Working closely with customers, product owners and technical teams to solve complex business problems.
  • Building secure, resilient systems using modern engineering best practices.
  • Developing cloud-native applications and services across AWS and Azure.
  • Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab.
  • Contributing to software architecture and technical design decisions.
  • Supporting deployments across public and private cloud environments.
  • Championing engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Influencing technical strategy and helping shape the future direction of projects.
  • Depending on experience, leading engineering teams and managing customer engagement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
