Spectrum Search is partnered with a well-backed financial technology company building digital payment and financial infrastructure for businesses. The organisation is expanding its European engineering capability and is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of customer-facing products and the services that power them.

About the opportunity

This is a hands-on engineering role within a product-focused team responsible for building and operating business-critical financial applications. You will work across frontend, backend and cloud infrastructure, contributing to products that support payments, financial operations and cross-border money movement.

The environment suits an engineer who combines strong technical fundamentals with practical product judgement and is comfortable improving both new and existing systems.

The role

You will own features throughout the development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation through deployment and production operation. Working closely with product managers, designers and engineers, you will help shape scalable solutions while maintaining high standards around reliability, testing and maintainability.

You will also contribute to engineering standards, peer reviews and the continued development of the wider team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
