Senior Software Engineer - TypeScript, React & Native Mobile

UK Fully Remote | Circa £75,000 - £85,000 | Bonus Scheme Available

We're working with a well-established and growing technology business looking for a Software Engineer to join one of its permanent feature teams.

This is an opportunity to work on a modern, customer-facing platform, contributing across the full software development lifecycle and helping to build resilient, scalable and high-performing technology.

You'll work closely with engineers, architects and key stakeholders to understand the wider platform and how it supports the business, while playing an active role in the design, development and continuous improvement of its products.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing, developing, testing and implementing high-quality software
  • Working as part of a permanent Agile feature team
  • Developing solutions across applications, data and infrastructure
  • Collaborating with Principal Engineers, Architects and other technical stakeholders
  • Building resilient, scalable and long-lived software
  • Contributing to architecture, technical design and engineering decisions
  • Supporting innovation through experimentation and prototyping
  • Improving the automation of build, test and deployment processes
  • Promoting engineering best practice around performance, scalability, availability and optimisation

What we're looking for

We're looking for a technically strong Software Engineer with experience designing and delivering modern applications across the full software development lifecycle.

Essential technical experience:

  • TypeScript
  • React
  • Experience with state management tools such as Redux or similar
  • Native mobile development experience using Swift and/or Kotlin

You'll also ideally have:

  • Strong software design and implementation experience
  • Experience working across complex systems and technical requirements
  • An understanding of scalable, resilient and high-performing software
  • Experience contributing to automated build, test and deployment processes
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience communicating complex technical concepts clearly
  • An understanding of information security practices within a regulated or financial services environment
