About the Company
Our client is a Series B technology company building an intelligent KYC and enhanced due diligence platform used by financial institutions and compliance-focused organisations. They operate in a high-stakes, regulated domain, combining entity resolution, risk analysis, and real-time screening into a sophisticated data intelligence product. Backed by institutional investment and growing fast, this is a company solving hard problems at scale... with the engineering rigour to match.
The Role
You will join a lean, high-calibre engineering team working directly on the core platform. The role spans backend and frontend, with a natural lean towards the API and service layer... you will own features end-to-end, from early architecture decisions through to production deployment. The team moves quickly and expects engineers who can operate independently, challenge assumptions, and raise the quality bar without being asked. Prior experience in regulated environments is a genuine advantage; if you understand why data integrity and audit trails matter, you will feel at home here immediately.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
