Company Description

Experian is a global data and technology company, powering opportunities for people and businesses around the world. We operate across a range of markets, from financial services to healthcare, automotive, agribusiness, insurance, and many more. Experian invests in people and new advanced technologies to unlock the power of data. We have an amazing team of 25,200 people in 32 countries.

Job Description

Experian - Credit Services, Identity & Fraud are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us build and improve a mature, business-critical product. You'll work across the full stack in a collaborative, agile team, taking features from design through to delivery. Because our software handles sensitive customer data in a regulated environment, writing secure, high-quality code is central to how we work.

This is a Hybrid, Nottingham based role (40% in the office) reporting to the Director of Engineer.

What you'll be doing

  • Build new features and enhancements across an established.NET product, working full-stack from data layer to UI.
  • Write clean, secure, maintainable and well-documented code, following our coding standards and secure-development practices.
  • Handle sensitive data responsibly, with security and data protection front of mind at every stage.
  • Improve performance and reliability through refactoring, database optimisation and sensible architectural changes.
  • Take part in the full delivery cycle — sprint planning, standups, retros — and work with the Product Manager to shape and deliver features.
  • Help triage, maintain and improve core parts of the existing application as our user base grows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
