AI Native Senior Software Engineer
We are looking for an exceptional AI Native Senior Software Engineer to help us radically redesign how software is built at Ranking Copilot.
This is not a conventional senior engineering role. We are looking for someone who is obsessed with AI, deeply intellectually curious and excited by the speed at which software engineering is changing.
You
- Live AI: You constantly track new models, coding tools, agent workflows, research, and best practices, and test promising developments as soon as they appear.
- Are exceptionally intellectually curious. When something important happens in AI, you want to understand exactly what happened, why it happened, and what it means for how we build.
- Ship extremely fast: You care about getting high-quality software into production, not spending weeks discussing how it might be built.
- Think in solutions: When an approach will not work, you do not stop at “this is impossible.” You find what will work instead.
- Think AI Native: You understand that adding Copilot or Claude to a traditional development process is not enough. The development process itself needs to change.
- Speak fluent English: Fluent Ukrainian is a significant advantage.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you will do
Your objective is to help make our development and QA organization genuinely AI Native, not merely AI assisted.
We are moving towards a model where:
- Work starts from clear specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Verification is designed before implementation.
- QA is shifted left and tests are defined before development.
- Deterministic checks, linters, architecture rules, and automated tests replace unnecessary human review.
- Requirements, technical decisions, and working context remain close to the code and continuously updated.
- Repetitive work becomes reusable AI skills, rules, and workflows.
- Agents complete an increasing amount of development and QA work autonomously.
- Humans increasingly focus on architecture, judgment, product decisions, and outcomes.
You will be expected to remain hands-on and prove these ideas by actually building and shipping.
